ZERO FOR CONDUCT Vacation is over and the inmates of a boy's school return to their drudgery. But three of them are planning something most definitely not in the curriculum -- a revolution against the school authorities including the headmaster, a diminutive four foot tyrant! Zero For Conduct (also known as Zero in Conduct) was the last film Vigo made just before his untimely death at the age of 29. The film has been universally praised for it's depiction of the childrens' secret world and its creative mixture of fantasy and surrealism. A highly recommended film that has made practically every ‘top ten best films’ list. Directed, written and edited by Jean Vigo. Photography by Boris Kaufman. Music By Maurice Jaubert. Cast: Jean Daste, Louis Lefebvre, Gilbert Pruchon. France
